This months Cooking Light magazine had many yummy looking recipes. On page 32 they have a spicy chicken shawarma recipe that we tried tonight. It was pretty good but not a "keeper". We also had hummus and Greek salad.
I marked close to a dozen different recipes in the April 2010 magazine. I have a few magazine subscriptions that were $5 amazon specials. I keep a stack near the bathtub for relaxing and inspiration.
I like the idea of a spicy chicken pita but the flavor of this recipe was not strong enough for my tastes. I have a really good hummus recipe from recipezaar but I was able to bring home hummus and kalamata olives from work today at no cost so I saved some time there.
I need to go to the grocery store and I am still working on my menu which should have been done Saturday :)
